Sugar, get ready for this doozy of a story.

– Sam “Shootin’ Sam” Johnson, a 70-year-old Army veteran from Texas is at it again demonstrating his famed aim, not at a range but right at his backyard.
– Our Shootin’ Sam found himself a big ol’ hornets nest in his backyard which he deems a right pain in the tush.
– Instead of ringing up pest control, Shootin’ Sam hilariously resorts to his trusted shotgun to fix his little ‘bug’ problem.
– Not a one to back down, he bravely goes on the offensive, shooting down the hornets nest, and boy does he take it out.
– The whole neighborhood’s a mix of fright and laughter with ole Shootin’ Sam’s daredevil backyard antic.

Folks, you just can’t make this up: backyard pests meet backyard justice!

When Soldier Sam Meets Buzzin’ Bugs

Aim like You Mean it, Sugar!

Now, I don’t mean to be preachin’, honey, but I reckon the moral of the story here has got to be ‘Texas style pest control ain’t for the faint of the heart.’ Bless his soul, Shootin’ Sam proves he ain’t lost his sharpshooting skills, and I’m just tickled pink that not a single neighbor got a buckshot souvenir outta this adventure. Can you just imagine the buzz in the neighborhood afterward? Talk about local flair. Anyway, I s’pose we’ve learned one thing from this good ol’ boy—when life gives you hornets, make some shotgun lemonade… or should I say, ‘shotgunade’?
