– Dairy, fruits, vegetables, and cereals ain’t left out from this upward trajectory. Good Lord, the ole’ salad might get a bit fancier in price too!

My Hot Southern Fried Take

As a Southern gal with a l-o-v-e for good food, it ruffles my feathers that the cost of our day-to-day grub is climbin’. From catfish to collard greens, everything’s gonna cost more than your extra fluffy southern biscuit. Now, I know it’s hard, but we all gotta tighten up our belts a bit and get smarter about our grocery shopping.

I reckon this is like Dolly Parton singin’, “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain”. So here’s hopin’ our wallets survive this storm and we get to see the pot of gold at the end.
