– Hillary Scott of Lady A took center stage at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House with her musically inclined gang. Puttin’ the band to shame, I tell ya!

– It was a real family affair, with members of her family, including her mom and younger sister, singing along right by her side. Ain’t that a hoot?

– The family pulled off a fantastic performance of fan-favorite “Thy Will.” Sends a shiver down your spine, doesn’t it?

– The Scott family legacy in country music is writ large. Mama Linda Davis, Grammy-winning artist, was raisin’ country stars before it was even cool.

Scott’s Musical Clan Graces Opry Stage

A Family Tradition in Country Music

Lord have mercy, if you’ve got a music lovin’ bone in your body, let me tell you about the Scott family bell that surely tolls – full of harmony, grit and a heap of country spirit. Now, we all love Lady A, that group can sure pluck a banjo, but y’all probably didn’t know that Hillary Scott, one mighty fine chord of that trio, hails from a den full of country royalty. Grandma, grandpa, mama Linda Davis, you name it, they got Grammy-winning country blood runnin’ through their veins like the Mississippi down south.

Multi-taskin’ Mama Takes the Opry House

Now, ya might think you know a hard-working woman, but have you ever met a country star, songwriter mama who takes her little ‘uns on tour with her? That’s Hillary Scott for ya. But the cherry on this proverbial southern sundae was when Hillary and her kin took the Grand Ole Opry stage and wooed the crowd with “Thy Will.” Gave me goosebumps, I’m tellin’ ya.

In my hot take, and mark my words y’all, family and love is what country music is all about. And seeing Hillary Scott share that Opry stage with her kinfolk, passing that tradition onto another generation is as heartwarming as a hot bowl of my mama’s chicken and dumplings. Ain’t nothin’ like keeping it in the family! So here’s a round of applause for our country music queen mama, Hillary Scott, for showing us that the Opry isn’t just a stage – it’s family! Y’all keep strummin’ and warblin’!
