Y’all Ain’t Gonna Believe This – Dolly Parton Dressed As a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader
– Dolly Parton graced the stage at the Dallas Cowboys and Vegas Raiders halftime show in full cheerleading attire, causing quite a stir.
– The queen of Country herself sang songs from her new Christmas album, “A Holly Dolly Christmas,” and it was just as festive as her Dallas Cowboys cheerleader mini dress.
– Along with her outfit, Parton dropped another surprise on the audience by bringing out well-known a cappella group Pentatonix, to perform “Jolene.”
– Fans were all aflutter on Twitter, praising Parton and her performance. Many even suggested the Cowboys should offer her a permanent cheerleading spot.
My Take on It
Now I’ve Done Seen Everything!
Well butter my biscuit and call me a believer, y’all! If any of you hen parties had told me sweet miss Dolly Parton was gonna strut out in a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit, I would’ve thought you’d been sipping grandpa’s cough medicine. But Lord have mercy, she did it and she did it with style. She lit up that field faster than a junebug on a lampshade.
Ain’t none of us gonna forget this little number anytime soon. And the music! Bless her heart, Dolly could teach those Cowboys a thing or two about scoring touchdown. Now, I ain’t sure no cheerleading squad would be ready for the whirlwind that is Dolly, but baby, I bet they’d be more entertaining than the boys on the field!
And can we just take a moment for the majesty that was Dolly & Pentatonix performing “Jolene”? I reckon it blew every performance out of the water. On this blessed day, football and country music had a sweet little love child, and all that’s left to say is… praise be to Dolly!
