Country Music Video Roundup December 9, 2023

• Country stars are showing up and showing out with their music videos, and honey, we got ourselves a bumper crop this week!
• The big news is Jon Pardi’s video for “Ain’t Always The Cowboy”, which is as country as a barn dance and as pretty as a fresh-poured mason jar of sweet tea.
• Luke Combs has an emotional new music video for “I Remember Everything” that will twist your heartstrings till they twang.
• The jolly ol’ Tim McGraw has stormed onto the scene with a heart-stirring video for “Stubborn Angels” capturing the spirit of human resilience and perseverance.
• Cody Johnson’s “Til You Can’t” video is here to remind us to live in the moment and to make the most of every opportunity, even if it means tramping through cow patties in your best boots!
• Country queen Reba McEntire is back with a bang, delivering her smooth country vocals in the video for “Somehow You Do”. If that don’t stick a feather in your cap, I don’t know what will.

My Hot Take

Lord have mercy, just when I thought the end of the year couldn’t get any more exciting, these country crooners come strutting out with new music videos, hotter than a summer barbecue! Pardi’s “Ain’t Always The Cowboy” has me ready to dust off my boots and hit the dance floor – just as soon as I finish this casserole, of course. Meanwhile, Luke Combs is over here making us bawl our eyes out into our biscuits with “I Remember Everything”. Pro tip, y’all: add a dollop of honey to sop up the tears. Tim McGraw is tugging at heartstrings too with “Stubborn Angels”, reminding us that even when you’re stubbing your toe on life’s big ol’ rocks, there’s always a way to keep two-stepping!

And oh my stars, Cody Johnson! Here’s a fella that knows how to put the ‘real’ in ‘reality’ with “Til You Can’t”. Meanwhile, Reba, our country queen, is showing them all how it’s done with “Somehow You Do”. You keep doing you, Reba – we won’t complain!

All in all, the music video roundup this week is like a potluck dinner – you’re bound to find something you love. Now if y’all will excuse me, I got some dancing and crying to do, courtesy of Mr. Pardi and Mr. Combs. And Cody, next time warn a gal before she watches your video in her Sunday best!
