**Honey, hold my sweet tea. I’ve got a doozy of a tail for ya!**

* Two foolhardy poachers out in Big Sky country, Montana have gone and got themselves a heap of trouble.
* These rascals, they got caught illegally poaching over 3,600 of our majestic bald eagles, can you imagine that?
* Those poor creatures weren’t done in for no good reason, oh no, they were killed for the feather black market.
* As for consequences, these boys won’t be seeing the wide Montana skies for quite some time. They’re lookin’ at prison time, sweetie.
* The cash register’s ringin’ in their ears too, because they could face up to $250,000 in fines. That’s a hefty price to pay for their shenanigans.

Montana’s Own Poachers Facing Sting of Justice

Bald Eagles Murdered: Black Market Feathers a High-Priced Crime Scene

Prison Time and Cash Fines: A Dear Price for Beastly Behavior

**Well, butter my buns and call me a biscuit!** I never thought I’d see the day when folks would stoop so low, especially in this dear country of ours that takes such pride in its wildlife. These boys done gone and turned the land of the free and the home of the brave into their sorry black market scheme, all over eagle feathers! The bald eagle, a symbol of our freedom, laid low by these dastardly deeds. It’s enough to make a grown woman spit her cornbread out in disgust, I tell ya. If they think we’re just gonna let this slide, they’ve got another think coming. Justice will be as swift and sharp as an eagle’s claw, mark my words. I reckon they’ll have plenty of time to ponder their folly as they’re counting the bars of their prison cell. Now ain’t that a hoot!
