Y’all, The Voice’s Controversy Continues with Country Music Bias!

– The popular TV show, “The Voice,” known for showcasing blossoming talents, has been in hot water with some viewers who accuse it of favoritism towards country music.
– Some folks are all riled up that country genre gets a whole lot more love on the show, to the detriment of other genres.
– The flame was fanned further during Season 20’s Battle Rounds, when two contestants, Carolina Rial and Rio Doyle, crooned Rascal Flatts’ “Bless the Broken Road”.
– Many wrangled that it’s just not fair to other music genres when country music numbers seem to consistently take the center spotlight.
– Fans argue that the show should reflect the diversified music community rather than putting country music up on a high horse.

Hot and Sassy Southern Take

Well, butter my biscuits, wouldn’t y’all know it, “The Voice” is being accused of playing favorites, with country music getting extra helping of apple pie! From what’s been said, it seems like every time we turn around, some poor contestant is belting out a Rascal Flatts’ tune, and darlings, that ain’t sitting too well with everyone. Now, no one loves country more than yours truly, but I do have to admit, a little rhythm and blues, pop, or rock wouldn’t hurt none either. Bless their hearts, the folks running “The Voice” have got themselves in a real pickle! Maybe next time, they’ll remember to mix the lyrical pot a bit better. But till then, grab your popcorn and boots, let’s enjoy the country show, y’all!
