An Ole Southern Belle’s Verdict

Alright y’all, let’s spill the sweet tea. Some of you might be more riled up than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs when you hear that your favorite bands are getting a cut taken out of their shirt sales at concerts. But, hold your horses there, partner!

A Little Piece of Advice

In the words of Kenny Rogers, ya gotta know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ’em. You see, the concert venues ain’t exactly rolling in cash either. They gotta keep the bartender pouring drinks, the lights on, and the security guards stationed at the doors to make sure ain’t no one sneaking in a flask or two.

The pandemic’s got everyone in a tighter squeeze than a new pair of cowboy boots. There ain’t no heroes or villains in the music industry, sugah, just folks trying to survive. So, instead of getting your britches in a twist, let’s remember to support our artists and the folks who give ’em a stage to perform. It’s about as American as apple pie and more exciting than a roll in the hay!

After all, there ain’t no party like a country concert, and I reckon we’d hate to lose that just because we didn’t understand the fine print. Just remember, as the song goes, “we’re all just walking each other home”, and there ain’t nothing wrong with helping each other along the way! That’s my fixin’ on it, honey!
